Some of the things I can do as your podcast editor:
✔︎ stick to processes you’ve already established (like adding theme music, intro, and outro clips, and identifying strategic spots for ad placement)
✔︎ match the audio levels of your recording to your intro&outro, guest, and/or cohost
✔︎ remove pauses, umms, and restarts (as long as it still sounds natural)
✔︎ remove or rearrange sections for better flow (though never without permission)
✔︎ add light sound effects to add structure to your episodes

How about some post-production features?

The price of podcast editing
Because your podcast is unique, you’ll get a custom quote depending on your editing and post-production needs. But because I want to be as transparent as I can be, here are a couple of examples of what you could expect in terms of pricing:
If your show consists of 20-30-minute solo episodes with simple edits and some post-production features, you can expect to pay $150-200 USD per episode.
If your show consists of one-hour-long conversations with a guest or cohost, and you want most (or all) post-production goodies, you can expect to pay $300+ USD per episode
You will be invoiced on a monthly basis through a retainer agreement based on your episode frequency.
