051: Honoring your humanity in business through boundaries with Lorin Galloway

This week I'm chatting with my best business friend Lorin Galloway, a brand strategist and designer based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Ever since I've known her, she's had great boundaries and structure in place in her business and family life, which is why I thought she would have interesting things to share on the podcast.

Originally I was going to name the episode “Boundaries and structure in business with Lorin Galloway”. But after we chatted it didn’t feel like the title did justice to the main message of the episode: how it’s possible to honor your humanity while running a business.

In the episode, we chatted about:

– How Lorin follows the ebb and flow of life, business, and parenting so that she can honor her humanity while running her business

– Which boundaries and structures she has in place in her business

– What it looks like to experience balance as a business owner

– How she incorporated taking good care of herself into her life when she realized that it was missing

– How she defines success in business (Spoiler alert: it has nothing to do with a 7-figure paycheck)
